VISITING SANTA BARBARA WINE COUNTRY
We’re the “other” wine country. With more than 24,000 acres of vineyards and over 100 wineries, most of which are small, boutique and family-owned, we think there is something here for just about anybody. Four distinctly unique appellations, superb food, leisure, recreation, art, history and most of all – open spaces and friendly people. Welcome to Santa Barbara Wine Country!
THINGS TO DO
Travel up San Marcos Pass as the stagecoach travelers did in days of old and experience the beauty and congeniality of the valley. While life is slower here, there is always something to do. Two major wine festivals each year, theatre under the stars, Old Santa Ynez Days, “Quick Draw” in Los Olivos and Julefest in Solvang. Or, you may just want to wander around our charming towns and wine trails.
